Xenon flash
The Xenon flash has made a debut on the Nokia N82 and then … it has disappeared from the portfolio. It seems that neither the current failship N96, nor the next flagship, the N97 will sport Xenon flash, so there will be some waiting until the N82 update.
The Xenon flash itself is important, because it has a huge advantage for photos over LED – especially for indoor pictures. Talking about family, movement or parties all bring out the superior performance of the xenon piece on the N82.
It’s a stange item in the 12 features list – as this is the only technology, which might not get common across the N-Series portfolio. What do you think is the reason behind this decision?

Xenon flash has also shipped on the 6220 classic, (although not an N series device)…
I say it again, if Nokia released the N82 NAM it would be a killer device!
I love the flash, but think that if most phones had a flash it might be a nuisance in bars and clubs… It’s that bright!
@Anonymous, thanks for the reminder ;) I would be very happy, if this would become common across the portfolio, I still find the N82 doing better shots than dual-LED.
@mobiledan: the main drawback of the N82 is the form, most people are repelled by the keyboard :-(
