Nokia 1202, the iPhone killer comparison

5 November 2008 @ 07:14 855 views 9 Comments Renegade Fanboy

Many times we struggle to find the next big thing – and overlook market changing forces. This is why I bring you Nokia’s iPhone-killer 1202 in an impartial comparison. If you can’t wait for the outcome, the Nokia 1202 kills the iPhone 3G easily with a score of 152 against 97. See it with your own eyes below!

And I would bet some serious money that the 1202 will quickly outsell the iPhone in 2009. ;-)

The original idea is coming from Carlos H. Mendoza, my compliments.

For 25 EUR, it seems as a perfect backup phone even for messy trips, where my N95 8GB would be too precious to take. And anyway, it’s better then the iPhone! ;-)))

Very interesting! :) I am using a Nokia 1200 & a N82, I can vouch for the fact that the torch is a lifesaver. It is a pity that Nokia thinks Nseries users don’t need one. That has got to be the single most used feature in the 1200 by me.

These so called ‘cheap’ phones by Nokia might not have the features that we want in our phones, but the fact that they are more sturdy than the average Nseries phones or even an iPhone, says a lot about them. Lets also not forget battery life! These babies have the juice to perform, how I wish the Nseries had similar specs!

This post was meant to be a joke – but I think that there are so many people with so many preferences, that indeed e.g. 3G can be the downside of a phone, if you don’t use it.

@Aditya: you are welcome, you had an interesting question ;)
